The UniGuard Robust Recorder
Product Overview
The UniGuard Robust Recorder is housed in a stainless steel, waterproof and shock resistant tube with a protective polyurethane sheath to ensure performance in adverse and robust conditions. Internal electronics are potted in flame retardant resin and all internal sub assemblies are waterproof. There is an on board buzzer that sounds and a LED flashes when contact is made with patrol points providing a date and time stamp. Should physical abuse occur to The UniGuard Robust recorder the on board Abuse Detection System (ADS) will record the date, time and veracity of any impact. The shock sensor records the veracity of impact recording a high, medium or low impact. In cases where there are 15 impacts within an hour The UniGuard Robust Recorder shuts down and will only reactivate when the recorder is downloaded. On each impact the blue LED flashes with the buzzer emitting an audible sound. The possible location and user of the equipment at the time of any possible abuse can also be ascertained. The UniGuard Robust Recorder is capable of recording 4000 separate patrol events before requiring download. The UniGuard Robust Recorder is sealed at both ends with rivets and can only be legitimately opened by trained technicians. The UniGuard Robust Recorder is manufactured in an accredited ISO 9001: 2000 facility.

Product Overview
The UniGuard Robust Supervisor Recorder can be used to collect information from the UniGuard robust recorders in the field. The UniGuard Robust Supervisor Recorder can collect up to 8 full recorders (32,000 records) in the field whilst also fulfilling its role as a normal patrol recorder. The UniGuard Robust Supervisor Recorder is simple to use and is similar in design and construction to The UniGuard Robust Recorder. The UniGuard Robust Supervisor Recorder has a docking port at the top of the collector against which the recorder read head is pressed and transfer occurs. On completion the Blue LED of the collector flashes and emits an audible sound. Once the data has been collected the collector can be downloaded as a normal recorder. The UniGuard Robust Supervisor Recorder has the functionality to be used as an ordinary The UniGuard Robust Recorder which is ideal for supervisory visits or mobile patrols.
